Collection of general information

Information of a general nature is automatically recorded when you access our web site. For example, this information (server log files) contains the type of web browser, the operating system being used, your Internet Service Provider’s domain name etc. This involves exclusively information that does not allow any conclusions regarding you personally. This information is technically necessary to correctly deliver the web page contents you requested, and unavoidably arises when the Internet is used. We statistically evaluate anonymous information of this kind to optimise our Internet presence and its underlying technology.

SSL Encryption

To protect the security of your data in transmission, we use encryption methods corresponding to the current state of the art (e.g. SSL) via HTTPS.

Use of script/font libraries (Google Webfonts)

To display our contents correctly and graphically attractively in a cross-browser manner, we use script libraries and font libraries on this web site, e.g. Google Webfonts (https://www.google.com/webfonts/). To avoid multiple downloading, Google Webfonts are transferred into your browser’s cache. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts, or access is prevented, contents will be displayed in standard font/script.

A connection to the library operator is triggered automatically by accessing script libraries and font libraries. In this respect it is theoretically possible for operators to collect data from the corresponding libraries – although it is currently also unclear whether and where applicable for what purposes.

You can find the library operator Google’s data protection guideline here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Google AdWords

Our web site uses Google Conversion Tracking. If you arrived at our web site via an advertisement placed by Google, Google Adwords will set a cookie on your computer. The conversion tracking cookie is set if and when a user clicks on an advertisement placed by Google. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days, and are not for personal identification purposes. If the user visits certain pages of our web site and the cookie has not yet expired, we and Google can recognise that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to this page. Each Google AdWords customer receives a different cookie. Thus cookies cannot be tracked/traced via AdWords customers’ web sites. The purpose of the information collected by using the conversion cookie is to compile conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have decided to use Conversion Tracking. Customers find out the total number of users who clicked on their advertisement and were redirected to a site/page provided with a conversion-tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information through which users are personally identifiable.

If you do not want to participate in tracking, you can refuse to allow the setting of the cookie that is required for it – e.g. by a browser setting that generally deactivates automatic cooking setting - or you can set your browser in such a way that cookies from the “googleleadservices.com” domain are blocked.

Please note that you must not delete the opt-out cookies for as long as you do not wish any recording of measurement data to take place. If you deleted all the cookies in your browser, you must re-set the respective opt-out cookie.

Your rights to information, correction, blocking, deletion and objection

You have the right at any time to obtain information from us about your personal data that we store. Likewise, you have the right to the correction, blocking or, except for the storage of data for business processing as described above, the deletion of your personal data. For this purpose please contact our data protection officer. You can find the contact data at the very end.

In order that a data block can be taken into account at any time, this data must be stored for monitoring purposes in a blocking file. You can also request deletion of the data unless there is a statutory archiving obligation. Insofar as such an obligation exists, we will block your data on request.

You can change or cancel a consent by an appropriate message to us, with effect for the future.

Changes to our data protection provisions

We reserve the right to adapt this data protection declaration from time to time to ensure it always conforms to current legal and statutory requirements, or to implement changes in our services into the data protection declaration, e.g. when new services are introduced. The new data protection declaration will then apply to the renewed visit.
